The Department of Economics has been established in 1991 in Sharadchandraji Pawar College, Jejuri. The subject in economics which are highly essential and job oriented nowadays are being taught at general level. Department is actively involved in promoting various advanced subjects of economics, by giving emphasis on teaching. It is functioning now as a full-fledged department with the facility of study at undergraduate level.
